A privileged location for enjoying A Mariña Lucense
The house is situated 500 metres from Benquerencia beach in the parish of A Mariña Lucense, which is enchanting both for its scenery and for its produce from the sea. One of the attractions of this town is its magnificent beaches, although you can also enjoy the beaches at Foz, Barreiros and Ribadeo. In the latter town, is the famous beach of “As Catedrais” where the sea has eroded the rocks and the cliffs and sculpted some enormous and very beautiful arches.
Other places of interest include Mondoñedo, Lourenza and the area of Lourenza and Alfoz, as well as Sargadelos and Viveiro due to their historic art heritage, enabling you to continue the trip towards Ferrol passing through O Vicedo and San Andrés de Teixido.
In the direction of Asturias, don’t forget to visit Rinlo and the Old Town in Ribadeo before continuing on towards Taramundi and los Oscos, and then going on to visit the Castro de Coaña and Grandas de Salime with its museum of ethnography. Luarca and Cudillero are essential stops if you are heading to the centre of the Principality of Asturias.
